Boarding With Us
Our kennels are set amongst the open countryside with gentle rolling hills, plenty of public foot paths and bridleways so your dogs have a variety of walks available, clean kennels, with all meals prepared daily on site. We are a relatively small kennels and the dogs always receive plenty of individual attention.
We ask that customers drop off their pets between 1pm to 3pm in the afternoon and we ask that customers collect their pets between 10:30am to 12pm and 2:30pm to 4:00pm. Anyone wanting to collect their pet after 4:00pm will need to make arrangements to collect the following day.
It is a legal requirement that your dog is fully vaccinated. Your dog will require an annual vaccine from your veterinary surgeon. It is desirable that all dogs also have the kennel cough vaccine. We require evidence of this on their arrival. Please download the Boarder Registration Form by clicking the link to the right.
“We found Bark Inn kennels when we were looking for somewhere to board our hounds, we found they maintained their weight when have in the past lost a lot of weight at other kennels. Since then we have also fostered a hound and became failed fosters due to falling in love with our big black boy. Michelle completed our pack with our 4th hound as she knew we were looking for a black girly. Our pack of hounds love going for a trip up to the kennels when we have bedding to drop off for them. Our 4 greyhounds are due in for a 2 week stay and we know they will be pampered and spoilt with stews and casserole and big comfy beds!”
“I found bark inn when looking for somewhere experienced with greyhounds to board my 2 girls, ended up helping out and coming home with another one. 2 years later and in still not sure if he prefers it at home or the kennels! Always wags his tail when he arrives for his holidays and he gets spoilt lol. Such a pleasure to have worked with people that care so much for the dogs. I wouldn’t leave my houndies with anyone else. The daily casserole is probably better than I feed myself.”
“Bark inn was recommended to me when looking for a lurcher I had an elderly dog bonny whom was blind a deaf so tobias was recommended as he was an ex travellers dog whom had had a rough time they had a month together so tobias became tommy and bark inn have been their through good and hard times and on into the future with what we can do in our small way and now tommy is going on his first holiday but a great addition at present snuggled up to his mum whom now is on holiday. xxxxx”
“I have recently used the kennels for my beloved douggie who enjoyed two weeks at hotel Barkinn and the ladies were absolutely wonderful. I’m afraid I was a bit of a worry wort mum and needed to keep in touch via Facebook to ensure my baby was ok and the ladies were so understanding and sympathetic to my needs that I would not hesitate to use them again and also to recommend them, not only did they look after my douggie and understand his individual needs, they managed to perfectly manage the needs of me and my family and match us with a second addition to our greyhound family – they knew that once they had had Millie I. Kennels, that she would be a perfect match for me and my family. And she is, she is adorable and we all love her very much, she has just been spayed and once she has recovered we shall all be making a trip to the kennels to make it official, I am one VERY happy customer xx”
